Wedding Videographer in Edison, NJ
Edison hosts some of the largest weddings in New Jersey, and the rooms here were built for exactly that. The Diamond Ballroom at the Sheraton on Raritan Center Parkway seats four hundred. Royal Albert's Palace, just south in Fords, runs a main ballroom listed near a thousand. Pines Manor has been holding down Route 27 with a capacity into four figures. These are not intimate barns, and pretending otherwise on a first call wastes everybody's afternoon.
A celebration spread over several days needs a crew that plans in days rather than hours. A baraat is a moving outdoor shot, often with a horse, always with a dhol line setting the pace, and there is never a second take. A mandap ceremony runs long and low and then breaks open into something loud. Oak Tree Road, where the Moghul Ballroom sits, is the corridor most families already know by heart, and the run from a morning function there to an evening reception over in Iselin is short enough to keep hair and makeup intact.
Ask for a plan built around the event count instead of a single wedding day, because that is honestly what these weekends are.
Edison sits on Route 1 between the Turnpike and the Parkway, so ask about holding the full block of dates rather than booking each function as a separate job.

How the house works
A conversation first
We start with the day itself. Who is in it, where it moves, and the handful of moments you would be heartbroken to lose. Nothing is quoted before we understand that.
A quiet camera
On the day the house works small and close. No blocking the aisle, no staging your guests, no directing a room that is already doing something worth keeping.
The film, finished
You receive a cinematic edit built for the way people actually watch, cut to the sound of your own day. Everything included is agreed in writing before the date is held.
Edison weddings, answered
Do you cover multi day South Asian weddings?
Yes. Sangeet, mehndi, haldi, baraat, ceremony and reception are treated as separate productions under one agreement, each with its own call time and crew size. Give us the full event list at the enquiry rather than only the wedding day, because the staffing moves with it.
How do you actually film a baraat?
On foot, and planned well before it steps off. A baraat moves, it is loud, the dhol sets the tempo and nothing can be repeated, so the coverage has to be decided in advance rather than improvised inside it. Walk the route with your venue early and tell us where it begins, where the horse turns and where the family will be standing when it arrives.
Our ballroom holds close to a thousand people. Is that a problem?
It is a staffing question rather than a problem. Royal Albert's Palace runs near a thousand and the Diamond Ballroom at the Sheraton seats four hundred. A room that size wants the stage and the far tables both accounted for, so settle the coverage in the quote instead of discovering it at nine at night.
Can you work around the venue's in-house caterer and decorator?
We expect to. Along Oak Tree Road and around Raritan Center the decor load-in often runs right up against guest arrival, so we schedule the empty-room and mandap detail shots against the decorator's finish time rather than the time on the invitation.
How long is the edit for a three day wedding?
Longer than a single day, and it should be. Get the delivery window in writing before you book, along with exactly what you receive for each function. A weekend of five events is five times the footage and the timeline ought to say so out loud.
A phenomenal traveling videographer/content creator. The world is waiting and I'm so blessed to have had you involved in our wedding! I can't wait to see what God does through you!
