Wedding Videographer in Union County, NJ

Union County packs twenty one towns into a space small enough that a ceremony in Rahway and a reception in Clark are the same afternoon rather than the same weekend. That is the real advantage of marrying here. A day can hold a church, a park and a ballroom without anyone losing an hour to the Parkway, and the schedule stops being a series of apologies to your guests.

We shoot the county the way people actually use it. The park system runs 36 parks across 6,200 acres, so portraits often happen outdoors before the room ever opens: the Deserted Village up in the Watchung Reservation, the long path at Nomahegan in Cranford, the Shakespeare Garden the Plainfield Garden Club planted in the 1920s. Park time is reserved through the county desk in Elizabeth rather than arranged on the day, so that call goes into the plan early.

Then the room. A 1928 theatre in Rahway, a sports center in Roselle, a ballroom off Parkway exit 135. We film the whole arc of the evening, the procession in, the prayers, the plates going down, the cousins who will not let the floor close.

The county sits a short run down 78 or the Parkway from us, so a Union County date is an ordinary working day here and we still arrive early enough to walk both rooms before anyone is dressed.

How the house works

  1. A conversation first

We start with the day itself. Who is in it, where it moves, and the handful of moments you would be heartbroken to lose. Nothing is quoted before we understand that.

  2. A quiet camera

On the day the house works small and close. No blocking the aisle, no staging your guests, no directing a room that is already doing something worth keeping.

  3. The film, finished

You receive a cinematic edit built for the way people actually watch, cut to the sound of your own day. Everything included is agreed in writing before the date is held.

Union County weddings, answered

Do we need a permit to shoot in a Union County park?

Park time is reserved, not improvised. The county reservation desk at 10 Elizabethtown Plaza in Elizabeth handles picnic areas, fields and special events, and it is reachable by phone or at the parks request address. Call before the shot list is written, because spring and early summer dates fill first and a garden you counted on can already be spoken for.

Our ceremony and reception are in two different towns. Does that cost us the evening?

Almost never in this county. Clark to Rahway, Cranford to Roselle, Berkeley Heights down to Scotch Plains are all short drives. Put fifteen to twenty minutes of slack in the transfer, tell us where the family cars are staging, and the timeline absorbs it without anybody feeling rushed.

Our day has a traditional ceremony in the morning and a white wedding at night. How do you cover that?

As one day in two parts, which is a coverage question before it is anything else. Two ceremonies means two setups, two sets of vows worth redundant audio, and usually a change of location, so the hours are booked for the full span rather than for an evening. Tell us at the enquiry stage which part carries the family ritual and which carries the party, and we build the schedule and the crew around that instead of discovering it on the morning.

Are the older county rooms difficult to light?

Specific rather than difficult. A 1928 theatre, a converted barn and a hotel ballroom behave nothing alike once the sun is down, and house uplight packages are built for atmosphere rather than for a camera. We walk each room before your date and bring our own key light, so the film does not depend on whatever color the venue left in the fixtures.

Do you actually cover the whole county or only a few towns?

The whole county. The venues listed on this page sit in five different municipalities on purpose, and we work the rest of them too. If your room is not named here, send it to us and we will tell you honestly whether we have been inside it and what we would want to see before the date.

A phenomenal traveling videographer/content creator. The world is waiting and I'm so blessed to have had you involved in our wedding! I can't wait to see what God does through you!
