Connecticut is the third state the house works in, and it is the one people assume we do not. We do. Fairfield County is a straight run up the shoreline, and New Haven, Bridgeport and Hartford dates are booked as full days rather than squeezed in around something closer to home.
The work itself does not change. Vertical cinema in 9:16, a quiet camera, a film cut for the way people actually watch it. What changes is the shape of the day. Shoreline light behaves nothing like a ballroom an hour inland, an estate with real grounds hands you distance a city block never will, and the drive home is a real thing, which is why travel is agreed in writing before a date is held.

We are marrying at an estate with a lot of grounds. What does that change?

We scout the property, choose two or three places instead of six, and keep the walking inside the schedule rather than stacked on top of it.
